A world with a transparent ocean in Crystal Valley

The Aurora exploration ship Prism sent back photos of a planet whose ocean is clearer than glass. There are glowing structures on the seabed.

A-6 Crystal Valley ·

While mapping A-6 Crystal Valley, the exploration ship Prism found a temperate ocean planet in the valley's farthest corner. Its water is so clear that the seabed, hundreds of meters below, is visible even from orbit.

The real surprise is the regular hexagonal structures on the seabed. On the night side they emit a slowly pulsing blue light. The team has not yet worked out whether the light comes from Crystalite veins or from an unknown life form.

The planet has been given the temporary name "Duru". The Aurora Union will send a new research team before allowing any landings.
