Three-day siege of the Crimson Core is over
Iron Khanate fleets pulled back after pressing the Aurora line for three days. Both sides claim victory; the debris field has yet to cool.
4-4 Crimson Core once again earned its reputation as the bloodiest zone in the galaxy. The Iron Khanate's heavy cruisers reached the core gate on Saturday night and pounded the Aurora defenses for three days straight.
According to front records, the turning point was the "living wall" Aurora pilots built in front of the gate with the Shield Dome tactic. Iron commanders described the withdrawal as "a planned redeployment".
Pilots salvaging in the area report an unusual amount of Plasmite in the debris field. Be careful, though: Crimson Guards can smell wreckage from very far away.
